Hinatazaka46's Yoki Ishizuka draws attention during baseball broadcast

Hinatazaka46 members Yoki Ishizuka and Rika Takai drew significant social media attention during a live commentary stream on the group’s official YouTube channel for the 2026 JERA Climax Series Central League Final Stage.

During the third game between the Hanshin Tigers and Yokohama DeNA BayStars, Ishizuka, a known fan of the Yomiuri Giants, wore a DeNA uniform for the broadcast. However, she wore a Giants T-shirt underneath the jersey, a gesture fans described as a “desperate resistance” to maintain her team loyalty while fulfilling her professional duties.

Viewers praised Ishizuka for her commentary and her ability to balance her personal team preferences with the requirements of the broadcast. The stream also featured lighthearted references to other group members, contributing to a positive reception from both idol and baseball fans.
