Hindon River search continues for missing 19-year-old woman

Search operations are ongoing for a 19-year-old woman from Hathras who jumped into the Hindon River near Kulesara village in Greater Noida on Saturday night. The woman, identified as Sanjana, reportedly jumped from a bridge due to dowry demands made by her partner prior to marriage.

A man present at the scene attempted to rescue her and was pulled to safety by locals, but Sanjana was swept away by the strong current. Two SDRF teams have been conducting search operations for three days, covering approximately 10 kilometers from the site. However, high water levels and rapid currents have significantly hindered recovery efforts.

Local police stated that they are awaiting a formal written complaint from the family to proceed with further legal action.
