Hindsight Studios reveals new demo for BERGWERK - A Mining Sim

Aerosoft and Hindsight Studios have released a new gameplay trailer and demo for BERGWERK - A Mining Sim, now available on Steam. Set in the fictional German coal region of Grubental, the simulation allows players to manage a colliery from its initial stages to a large-scale industrial operation.

The gameplay focuses on the entire production chain, from underground excavation to surface logistics. Players must manage procedurally generated, multi-level mines by excavating tunnels, securing them with supports, and maintaining critical infrastructure such as power, water, ventilation, and gas control.

As the operation expands, players can utilize over 15 types of heavy machinery, including roadheaders and continuous miners, and build connected transport systems involving locomotives and conveyors to move coal from the depths to surface washeries and silos.
