HIP Horeca Professional Expo debuts in Italy

The first Italian edition of HIP – Horeca Professional Expo took place at BolognaFiere from October 19 to 21, 2026. The event focused on innovation, management, and the evolution of the Horeca sector, addressing contemporary challenges such as rising costs and the difficulty of finding qualified personnel.

Industry experts, including consultant chef Andrei Micle and Aut&Food founder Matteo Fontana, discussed strategies to maintain quality and economic sustainability through better organization and standardization. Micle emphasized the importance of planning and process optimization to improve operational efficiency. Fontana highlighted how standardized procedures can increase productivity and support workplace inclusion for neurodivergent individuals.
