HIP Italia opens in Bologna with 220 brands and 400 speakers

The first Italian edition of HIP – Horeca Professional Expo has opened at BolognaFiere. Running until October 21, the international event is dedicated to innovation within the hospitality, catering, and hotel sectors.

The exhibition features over 220 brands and more than 400 speakers. A central component of the event is the Hospitality 4.0 Congress, which includes over 20 thematic summits and five auditoriums. Discussions focus on technological transformations, new professional skills, and business models designed to address rising costs and evolving consumer habits.

Manuel Bueno, director of HIP Italia, stated that the event is a long-term project intended to provide a platform for the Italian hospitality sector to remain competitive while sharing knowledge and creating business opportunities. Giampiero Calzolari, president of BolognaFiere, noted the importance of the event during a complex period for the industry, which is closely linked to Italy's tourism development.
