HiringCafe raises $6.8M to launch AI-driven job search platform

HiringCafe, an agentic job discovery platform, has raised $6.8 million in pre-seed funding to address inefficiencies in the modern job search process. The funding round was led by Spark Capital, with participation from Nonfiction Capital, Silicon Gardens, and various angel investors from companies including ZipRecruiter and Indeed.

The startup aims to move away from the advertising-based models used by legacy job boards, which co-founder Hamed Nilforoshan claims only surface a small fraction of available roles. To combat issues like 'ghost jobs' and hyper-competition for sponsored listings, HiringCafe is expanding its real-time career search engine.

As part of this announcement, the company introduced its AI Talent Agent, a free tool designed to help job seekers by using personalized AI to scan millions of open roles, including the 'long tail' of the job market that traditional platforms often overlook.
