Hiroki Ito faces potential transfer from Bayern Munich

German media reports suggest that Japanese defender Hiroki Ito may leave Bayern Munich during the upcoming winter transfer window. Currently in his third season with the Bundesliga club, Ito has struggled to secure playing time due to previous injuries and intense competition for positions.

Reports from 'tz.de' indicate that Ito is not currently part of the team's primary tactical plans. The center-back position is firmly held by Jonathan Tah and Dayot Upamecano, while the left-back role is contested by Alphonso Davies and Nathaniel Brown. This lack of regular club appearances could potentially impact his standing within the Japanese national team.

There is speculation regarding a move to the Dutch club Ajax, which reportedly attempted to sign the defender in late August and may make another move in January.
