Hiroko Moriguchi announces ‘ANISON COVERS 3’ album release

Japanese singer Hiroko Moriguchi has announced the release of her latest anime song cover album, ‘ANISON COVERS 3’, scheduled for December 16. The project continues her series of covers focusing on popular anime music from the 1980s and 1990s.

The album features several high-profile guest musicians. Notable collaborators include guitarist Marty Friedman on ‘CAT’S EYE’, singer-songwriter Masayoshi Oishi on ‘CARNIVAL・BABEL’, and the trio of Moriguchi, Iyo Matsumoto, and Yu Hayami on ‘Koi no Jumon wa Sukitoki Mekitoki Kis’. Other participants include Mikio Sakai and pianist Tetsuya Shiotaniya.

For the album's visual concept, Moriguchi has opted for a ‘bodycon’ fashion style, moving from the bikini theme used in her previous release. Promotional events are planned, including an online signing session on November 30 and in-store events at Tower Records in Kinshicho and Shinjuku throughout November and December.
