Kyoki wins debut WWE match as Shinsuke Nakamura's new partner

Former New Japan Pro-Wrestling standout Hiromu Takahashi, now performing in WWE as Kyoki, has completed his in-ring debut. Competing in a dark match ahead of RAW tapings in Ottawa, Canada, Kyoki defeated Kit Wilson.

Kyoki was recently introduced on SmackDown as the mystery partner for Shinsuke Nakamura. The duo, reportedly expected to be trademarked under the name Bakusai, is positioned to challenge the WWE Tag Team Champions, The MFTs. This partnership follows a storyline where Nakamura sought an ally after being attacked by Tama Tonga and his brother.

Before joining WWE, Kyoki established a highly decorated career in Japan, including five reigns as the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion and multiple wins in the Best of the Super Juniors tournament.
