Hirosaki City hosts unmanned seasonal produce sales

An unmanned sales stall located in front of Dotemachi Community Park in Hirosaki City is offering a variety of fresh seasonal vegetables and fruits at affordable prices.

Available autumn items include Japanese pears (Chojuro variety), European pears (Marguerite Marilla), and plums (Akihime). Other offerings include edamame from the foothills of Mount Iwaki and various apple products, such as all-you-can-pick bags of household or imperfect apples for making apple pie or juice. Sales are cash only, and prices and availability vary by season.
