Hiroshi Tamaki wins bronze at IBJJF World Master Jiu-Jitsu Championship

Japanese actor Hiroshi Tamaki secured third place in the Master 4 Purple Belt featherweight division at the IBJJF World Master Jiu-Jitsu Championship held at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Representing ARTA BJJ Hiroo, Tamaki competed in a field of 21 participants. His performance included a submission victory via triangle choke in the second round and a points-based victory in the third round before ultimately losing to the eventual champion in the semifinals.

Fellow actor and Jiu-Jitsu practitioner Junichi Okada offered his congratulations on social media, noting the difficulty of competing against world-class opponents. International fans have also praised the achievement, describing the podium finish in such a competitive division as a significant feat.
