Hiroshima City proposes 10.17 billion yen supplementary budget
Hiroshima City has announced a supplementary budget proposal for September totaling approximately 10.17 billion yen. A significant portion of this, roughly 9.66 billion yen, is designated for reserves in the fiscal adjustment fund following an increase in local allocation tax from the national government.
The proposal includes 249 million yen specifically allocated for measures against rising prices. These funds are intended to support nurseries in maintaining stable operations through equipment purchases and to provide subsidies to farmers who face difficulties passing on increased costs to consumers. Additionally, the budget includes debt obligations of approximately 6.7 billion yen for the redevelopment of the family pool area over a five-year period starting in fiscal 2027.
