Hiroshima Station to host joint food and bento festival

Hiroshima Station Bento Co., Ltd. and the Hiroshima Local Production for Local Consumption Promotion Council will hold a joint event featuring the ‘Ekiben Matsuri’ (Station Bento Festival) and ‘Minori Minoru Marche’ at JR Hiroshima Station on November 6, 2026.

The ‘Minori Minoru Marche’ will showcase seasonal vegetables, fruits, flowers, and processed goods from Hiroshima Prefecture. The ‘Ekiben Matsuri’ aims to promote Japanese railway food culture by offering various station bento from across Japan, ranging from Hokkaido to Kagoshima.

Special local offerings include ‘Hiba Beef Roast Beef Bento’ and ‘Medetai Tabetai Tanoshitai,’ both developed by top performers from the Hiroshima Chef Contest. To celebrate the joint hosting, a lottery event will be held on November 6 for customers who purchase items from both venues.
