Hiroyoshi Ida, prominent Apucarana lawyer, dies at 82

Renowned lawyer Hiroyoshi Ida, a prominent figure in the Japanese community of Apucarana, passed away at the age of 82 on Saturday. He died at his home following a long battle with pulmonary emphysema.

Dr. Ida was a distinguished legal professional specializing in labor and civil law, with significant practice before the Court of Justice of Paraná (TJPR) and the Regional Labor Court of the 9th Region (TRT-9). Beyond his legal career, he served as a condominium manager and a leader for local business owners, notably successfully advocating for the removal of a local fountain that caused disturbances to the central commercial area.

He was a widower and is survived by three children, three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
