Hirtshals Operafestival hosts open-air concert at Hirtshals Kro

The Hirtshals Operafestival hosted a unique open-air concert on Sunday, featuring performances from the balcony of Hirtshals Kro. The musical program included Italian classics and major opera moments, performed by tenor Anders Kampmann, baritone Asmus Hanke Frederiksen, and pianist Laurits Dragsted.

Repertoire included works such as ‘Sangen har vinger’ from Farinelli, Griebel’s ‘Den flyvende Hollænder’, and selections from Puccini’s La Bohème and Edgar. The performance concluded with the classic ‘O Sole mio’. The event utilized the building's balcony as a stage and the terrace as a concert hall, offering a non-traditional setting for the opera experience.
