Hirving Lozano scores as LA Galaxy defeat Austin FC 4-1

Hirving Lozano returned to the scoresheet with a header during the LA Galaxy's 4-1 victory over Austin FC in a Major League Soccer regular season match. Playing at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California, Lozano scored in the 38th minute following a cross from Marco Reus to extend the Galaxy's lead to 2-0.

The Galaxy's other goals were provided by João Klauss, Robert Taylor, and Sergi Roberto, the latter marking his first goal for the club. Austin FC's lone goal came from Ervin Torres via a long-distance shot in the 54th minute.

This performance marks Lozano's second goal for the LA Galaxy and ends a scoring drought lasting since August 29. The Mexican forward also marks his return to the lineup after missing the previous four matches due to injury.
