Hisense and Skyworth announce new washing machine series

Skyworth has unveiled its HarmonyOS Select heat pump washer-dryer combo series during its 2026 Autumn All-Scenario New Product Launch. The series includes a standard model priced at 5,399 yuan and a Pro version at 6,499 yuan, both scheduled for release next month. These machines feature a 13kg washing capacity and a 9kg drying capacity, utilizing millimeter-wave radar for automated interface lighting and smart interaction.

The Skyworth units incorporate triple frequency conversion direct drive motors and a four-dimensional tower shock absorption system. They offer low-temperature drying between 38°C and 42°C to protect fibers and include a four-fold sterilization system capable of a 99.9% sterilization rate. The machines support Wi-Fi and NearLink technology for real-time mobile monitoring.

In Japan, Hisense is launching two new slim, compact top-loading automatic washing machines, the HW-DG100XS (10kg) and HW-DG80XS (8kg), developed by its domestic R&D center. These models feature “penetrating foam veil washing” and a DDM inverter motor to balance cleaning power with low noise levels, reaching as low as 38dB during washing. They include automatic liquid detergent and softener dispensing, a rear-mounted control panel, and ConnectLife app integration for remote operation.
