Hisense celebrates centenary of television in London

Hisense hosted a commemorative event in London on 24–25 October to mark the 100th anniversary of television. The celebration centered around 22 Frith Street in Soho, the historic site where John Logie Baird conducted his first public demonstration of a television system in 1926.

The campaign, titled ‘Celebrating 100 Years of Television. Hisense, the Origin of RGB MiniLED’, featured an immersive big-screen experience at Outernet London’s The Now Building. The event aimed to connect the history of television with modern display advancements, specifically highlighting the company’s RGB MiniLED technology.

As part of the ‘London Walk through TV History’, the public could follow a campaign map through five different locations to explore London’s television heritage while experiencing new display technologies.
