Hisense expands TV lineup with new RGB MiniLED technology

Hisense is expanding its global television lineup with the introduction of new technologies, most notably RGB MiniLED. This technology utilizes an RGB LED backlight to expand the color gamut for HDR content, allowing for more realistic color expression and improved luminous efficiency.

In Japan, Hisense is launching the high-end RGB U9S series, which features the Hi-View AI Engine RGB and a 2.1.2ch spatial surround system supervised by Devialet. The series includes models ranging from 55 to 85 inches. Additionally, the company is releasing the A5S series, a 32-inch Full HD LCD TV designed with a focus on interior aesthetics and featuring the VIDAA OS.

Globally, Hisense is rolling out its 2026 TV models across the US, UK, and other regions. The new lineup includes flagship UR9S and UR8S models featuring RGB MiniLED, alongside more affordable MiniLED options such as the U7S Pro and U6S ranges. While the company continues to offer OLED models, its current strategic focus remains on advancing high-end LCD technology.
