Hisense launches slim 501L capacity HR-FH50S refrigerator

Hisense has released the HR-FH50S, a slim-body refrigerator designed to provide a large 501L capacity within a compact 65cm width. Developed by the company’s domestic R&D center to meet Japanese consumer needs, the unit is optimized for limited kitchen spaces through bottom heat dissipation and a design that allows for minimal clearance from walls.

The appliance features ‘Oishisa W Cooling’ technology, utilizing separate coolers for the refrigerator and freezer compartments to optimize temperature control. Key features include a vegetable compartment that maintains freshness for approximately 14 days via ethylene gas decomposition and humidity control, and a freezer capable of -30°C rapid freezing to minimize cell damage in food.

Additional functionalities include the ‘HI-NANO’ sterilization and deodorization system, which uses ions to suppress bacteria and odors. The refrigerator also integrates with the ‘ConnectLife’ smartphone app, allowing users to manage food supplies and adjust settings remotely.
