Hisense equips FIFA World Cup 2026 with AI‑driven home ecosystem and VAR RGB MiniLED displays
Hisense, the Chinese consumer‑electronics and home‑appliance group, is an official sponsor of the FIFA World Cup 2026. The company is promoting its Hisense Suite, an AI‑connected home ecosystem that includes the PureFlat Smart Series refrigerator with a large touch display, ice‑water dispenser and integrated entertainment features, as well as the Air Master air‑conditioner with intelligent climate control. The suite is marketed as a “Unified AI Home Ecosystem” that lets families manage cooking, comfort and leisure while watching match‑day events.
In parallel, Hisense’s RGB MiniLED television technology is being used at FIFA’s International Broadcast Centre in Dallas for Video Assistant Referee (VAR) reviews. The displays provide independent red, green and blue light sources for superior colour accuracy, contrast and image precision, helping referees evaluate critical incidents. FIFA officials, including President Gianni Infantino and Commercial Partnerships Director Nick Brown, highlighted the technology’s contribution to clearer decision‑making and to the overall broadcast experience.
Hisense operates in more than 160 countries and is ranked No. 1 globally in the 100‑inch‑plus TV segment by Omdia (2023‑Q1 2026). The dual rollout of smart‑home products and VAR‑grade displays underscores the company’s strategy to link premium consumer technology with a major international sporting event.
