Hisense U6SF Pro mini-LED TV targets gamers with high brightness

Hisense has released the U6SF Pro, a budget-friendly mini-LED television designed for gamers and home theater enthusiasts. As the successor to the U65QF, the new model features improved brightness and lower input lag.

In testing, the U6SF Pro achieved a peak brightness of 1,442 nits at an 18% white field, significantly exceeding the 1,000-nit threshold typically required for effective high dynamic range (HDR) performance. The display supports various HDR formats, including Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HDR10+.

For gaming, the television offers a 144Hz refresh rate and includes four HDMI ports, two of which support 4K144 signals. The device operates on the Amazon Fire TV platform rather than Google TV. While it offers high performance for its price point, it lacks certain premium features such as an ATSC 3.0 tuner and hands-free voice control.
