Hisense unveils RGB Mini‑LED TVs, backs World Cup 2026 VAR displays

Hisense announced the UR8 RGB Mini‑LED TV series, highlighting its market‑leading 55.2% share in the 100‑inch+ segment according to OMDIA Q1 2026 data. The new TVs use the company’s Chromagic RGB chip, 180 Hz game mode and Devialet‑tuned surround sound, and the brand will promote them through a FIFA World Cup 2026 "Buy & Win" campaign targeted at South African consumers. Hisense is also the official VAR display provider for the tournament, supplying the large‑screen video technology that supports referees on the pitch.

A consumer guide noted that several major retailers are offering deep discounts on large‑screen TVs ahead of the World Cup, including a price cut on the Hisense U75QG 75‑inch model. The guide listed deals from Amazon and Best Buy for 75‑inch sets from Roku, TCL, LG and Hisense, with the Hisense option positioned as a bright, high‑performance choice for viewers in bright living rooms.
