Hispano Suiza unveils Carmen Sagrera hypercar, advanced driver dynamics
Hispano Suiza presented the Carmen Sagrera hypercar on 4 August 2026. The fully electric model delivers 820 kW (1,115 hp) and 1,160 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.6 seconds. It expands the brand’s Carmen range, which previously included the 2019 Carmen and the 2020 Carmen Boulogne.
The car incorporates the proprietary Hispano Suiza Driver Dynamics (HSDD) system, which gathers data from more than 100 sensors and runs software capable of processing over 200 million instructions per second. Calibrated with former Formula 1 driver Luis Pérez‑Sala, the system is designed to intervene only when necessary, preserving the driver’s sense of control while enhancing performance. Juan Fernández, CTO of Hispano Suiza, said the technology is intended to intensify driving pleasure rather than replace the driver.
