A fuel station established in 1934 by Mehmet Celal Bilgiç in Kozan, a district of Adana Province, continues to operate as a living museum of Turkey’s early automotive era. The site retains original 1958 and 1974 fuel pumps and displays vintage metal barrels, attracting visitors who experience a nostalgic glimpse of mid‑20th‑century fuel retail.

The station’s current caretaker, Umit Bilgiç, says the family refuses any commercial sale, turning down a $10,000 offer from a collector. He stresses that the pumps are a family heirloom, not a commodity, and aims to preserve the location as a cultural‑tourism spot where people can “feel the past” while enjoying tea or coffee.
