Historic buses showcased in Wrocław and Warsaw

Wrocław hosted a presentation of a restored Jelcz L11 bus at the Popowice depot, organized by the Club of Public Transport Enthusiasts. The event featured various vintage vehicles from across Poland, including models from Warsaw, Poznań, Lublin, and Kraków. Following the presentation, the historic buses operated a special free line E, traversing a route similar to former express lines connecting Pilczyce and Biskupin.

In Warsaw, historical records highlight the 2008 testing of the Mercedes-Benz CapaCity, a 19.5-meter prototype capable of carrying over 170 passengers. The vehicle, which featured a unique steering axle for maneuverability, served on express lines before beginning regular service in Bratislava in late 2008. It remained in service there until the end of 2025 and has since been preserved as a historical vehicle.
