Historic FIVA World Motorcycle Rally held in České Budějovice, Czech Republic
The FIVA World Motorcycle Rally took place in České Budějovice over five days, attracting 120 riders from 18 countries, including a participant from Australia. The event featured historic motorcycles divided into twelve groups, with activities such as visits to the ČZ collection in Strakonice, a brewery tour, and excursions to nearby castles and museums. Competitors were evaluated for categories like oldest bike, longest journey and youngest rider. The rally showcased 34 different motorcycle brands, the most represented being BMW with eighteen machines, and concluded without serious injuries despite the heat.
Organizers emphasized a festive atmosphere and cultural appreciation, although public awareness of the rally remained limited.
