Various historic and notable dining establishments across the United States are highlighted for their unique settings and community significance.

In Grand Rapids, Ohio, La Roe’s, a restaurant that operated for 46 years in a building originally dating back to 1880, closed its doors in August 2023. The establishment was known for its riverside views and comfort food.

In North Carolina, Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen & Bar in downtown Asheville has gained popularity for its Southern comfort food, particularly its biscuits, which have also supported Hurricane Helene relief efforts.
