Cilento and Salerno conclude summer festivals on September 14

September 14 marks the conclusion of several summer events and festivals in the Cilento region and the province of Salerno. Notable closures include the Fiera della Frecagnola in Cannalonga, a traditional event focused on commerce, gastronomy, and rural heritage, and the third edition of the Giffoni IGP Hazelnut Festival in Vassi di Giffoni Valle Piana.

Additionally, the Viviamocilento festival in Acciaroli and Pollica reaches its final day of music and culture at the Arena del Mare.

Regarding weather, the southern Italian region is seeing a transition from intense heat to more moderate temperatures. While the Cilento coast expects clear or slightly cloudy skies, inland and mountainous areas such as the Alburni and Vallo di Diano may experience cloudiness and local afternoon showers.
