Historical artifacts and engravings documented in German museum archives

Various historical artifacts and illustrations are documented within German museum collections.

A copper engraving depicts Sidonia, Countess of Hassenstein, pleading with Imperial Lieutenant General Heinrich Holk to spare the city of Annaberg in 1632 during the Thirty Years' War. The scene shows the Countess accompanied by members of the Annaberg Council, set against a backdrop of both intact and burning parts of the city.

Additionally, a white porcelain coffee and tea service featuring gilded decorations is cataloged. The set includes a pot, a sugar bowl with a lid, a milk jug, and four cups. The pieces are characterized by floral or ornamental gilded handles and rims, though some wear is visible on the gilding.
