Historical book launches in Bosnia and Montenegro celebrate regional heritage

The municipal library of Busovača, Bosnia and Herzegovina, hosted a presentation of Prof. Dr. Ivica Petrović’s book *Naša priča – Petrovići iz sela Ravan u Busovači* on 9 August. The work combines genealogical research and family history to trace the Petrović lineage over three centuries, drawing on parish records, oral testimony and archival sources, and highlights broader patterns of Catholic settlement and migration in central Bosnia.

In Petnjica, Montenegro, the cultural summer program organized by the Center for Culture featured the promotion of Prof. Dr. Izet Šabotić’s *Velika medresa u Skoplju (1925–1941) – Stasavanje jedne generacije*. The book, based on extensive archival material, examines the development, activities and societal impact of the Great Medresa in Skopje, emphasizing its role in shaping generations of scholars and intellectuals from Sandžak, Montenegro and the wider region.
