Historical book presentations scheduled in Todi and Sabbioneta

Two historical book presentations are scheduled in Italy to explore regional heritage and educational evolution.

In Todi, the volume ‘Memoriam Patriae Servare’, edited by Enrico Menestò, will be presented on August 29, 2026, as part of the Todi Festival. The book serves as a tribute to Professor Marco Grondona and examines the history and historiography of Todi through various eras, including the Middle Ages and the modern period. The event will be presided over by Mayor Antonino Ruggiano.

In Sabbioneta, on September 5, 2026, the book ‘Scuola-Città di Casalmaggiore. Storia di un esperimento didattico’ by Massimo Bondioli will be presented. The work details a post-WWII pedagogical experiment in Casalmaggiore that focused on active student involvement, community integration, and student self-governance to foster active citizenship.
