Historical cafes reopen in Teramo and Carpi

Two historic Italian establishments are returning to service following periods of closure or management changes.

In Teramo, the former ‘Grigiorosso’ bar on Via Raneiro has reopened as ‘Mokha’. Under the new management of Fabio Petrella, Alfonso Neri, and Claudia Lattanzi, the venue has been renovated to offer high-quality coffee, quick lunches, and evening aperitifs. The new team aims to maintain the original welcoming atmosphere while modernizing the service to serve as a central social hub for the city.

In Carpi, the Caffè del Teatro is scheduled to reopen on November 4. Managed by entrepreneur Vincenzo Di Napoli of V. Studio Srl, the project focuses on restoring the historical value of the theater. The reopening includes the restoration of a historic outdoor awning dating back to the late 19th century. The venue will function as a restaurant for lunch and dinner, and a cocktail bar in the evenings, featuring local culinary specialties and a signature cocktail list.
