Historical festivals held in Lucera and Urbino

Several historical and cultural festivals are taking place across Italy. In Lucera, the Medieval Village held at the Fortezza Svevo-Angioina has concluded its initial phase, drawing visitors from Puglia and neighboring regions. The event featured historical camps, ancient crafts, and various performances. The 43rd edition of the Torneo delle Chiavi continues with upcoming events, including a blessing of the Palio and a competition between the city's five historic gates.

In Urbino, the 44th Festa del Duca is scheduled from August 11 to 14. The festival includes 150 events across the historic center and Palazzo Ducale, aiming to recreate the atmosphere of the Renaissance. Highlights include the Giostra del Duca, a chivalric tournament, as well as archery, fencing, and street performances by artists from across Italy. The event also features the Antica Fiera del Duca, showcasing merchants and artisans.
