Kahramanmaraş features several significant historical sites, including the 16-century-old Haştırın Castle and the 144-year-old Bayazıt Mansion.

Located in the Andırın district, Haştırın Castle is built upon steep cliffs that reach heights of up to 100 meters. Its strategic position at the intersection of the Kahramanmaraş-Andırın and Kadirli roads provided a natural defensive advantage. A stream passing through its southern section likely served as a water source during its period of use.

In the Gazipaşa neighborhood, the Bayazıt Mansion stands as a notable example of Ottoman-era architecture. Built in 1882, the 40-room structure has served various purposes, including housing military units during World War II. The mansion gained recent prominence as a filming location for the television series ‘7 Güzel Adam’.
