HISTORY premieres security documentary series in Rome

The HISTORY channel is launching “¡ALTO! FRONTERA ROMA” on its Latin American YouTube channel starting Monday, October 12. Produced by Omava, the 12-episode series documents the security operations at Rome’s Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino International Airport.

The production follows various divisions of the Italian Police as they manage security at one of Europe’s busiest aviation hubs. The series highlights efforts to combat drug trafficking, document forgery, illegal immigration, and theft within the airport’s 120,000 square meter facility.

Fiumicino utilizes a network of 4,500 surveillance cameras and employs over one thousand specialized agents to monitor passengers and terminal areas. This release marks the franchise’s expansion from Latin American settings to European locations.
