Hit casinos begin reopening following cyberattack

The company Hit has begun restoring its information systems and reopening its casinos following a recent cyberattack. IT teams and external experts successfully re-established the necessary infrastructure to allow operations to resume.

The Perla casino was the first to reopen to guests, offering a limited selection of slot machines. Other locations are expected to resume operations throughout the day or by the end of the week. While basic gaming services are being restored, efforts continue to reactivate other systems related to hotel and business processes.

Sandi Brataševec, the company's CEO, credited the coordinated work of internal and external specialists for the rapid recovery. He emphasized that strengthening information infrastructure and security remains a top development priority for the company. Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
