HiteJinro expands social contribution to support police officers

HiteJinro is expanding its social contribution initiatives within its 'safety' pillar to include police officers. Since 2018, the company has focused on supporting firefighters and their bereaved families through an agreement with the National Fire Agency.

To honor those maintaining public order, the company launched a 'Snack Truck of Gratitude' program. Running from October 14 to November 4, the initiative is currently being piloted in the Chungnam region, visiting seven police stations including the Chungnam Provincial Police Agency, Cheonan Seobuk, Cheonan Dongnam, Asan, Nonsan, Dangjin, and Seocheon. The program provides snacks and beverages to 2,918 officers based on their specific preferences.

Following this pilot phase conducted in cooperation with the Chungnam Provincial Police Agency and the Chungnam Social Welfare Council, HiteJinro plans to expand support for police officers to other regions. The company maintains four core social responsibility areas: safety, environment, sharing, and youth.
