HiTHIUM reaches 200GWh milestone in cumulative energy storage shipments
HiTHIUM has announced that its cumulative energy storage shipments reached 200 gigawatt-hours (GWh) as of October 15, 2026. The company reached this milestone approximately one year after surpassing the 100GWh mark in August 2025.
According to industry data from InfoLink Consulting, HiTHIUM ranked second in global energy storage cell shipments for the first half of 2026, trailing only CATL. Benchmark Minerals also ranked the company second among battery energy storage system (BESS) cell suppliers, noting a 10.2% market share and 63.5% year-over-year shipment growth.
CEO and Co-founder Jason Wang attributed the growth to the company’s scaling of end-to-end capabilities and its focus on long-duration energy storage (LDES). The company’s manufacturing base in Chongqing is recognized as a Global Lighthouse Network site by the World Economic Forum, utilizing digital solutions to improve throughput and reduce conversion costs.
