Hivemind Digital Group raises $17M for tokenization infrastructure

Hivemind Digital Group, the parent company of Hivemind Capital, has secured $17 million in a strategic funding round led by M&G Investments. The investment aims to accelerate the development of tokenization infrastructure designed to reshape the structuring, management, and accessibility of financial assets.

The funding round features a diverse group of investors, bridging traditional asset management with digital finance. Participants include CPIC Investment Management (HK), Hong Kong’s ZA Bank, FalconX, and Sonic Boom Ventures. The round also saw participation from various board members and former executives from institutions such as Man Group, Apollo Global Management, Coinbase, Citi, First Citizens Bank, and GoldenTree Asset Management.

As part of the agreement, Alex Seddon, head of impact and private equity at M&G Investments, will join the Hivemind board of directors. The collaboration seeks to position tokenization as a central component of evolving financial markets.
