HØJ Elite rejects Aarhus Håndbold protest over Jannick Green

HØJ Elite has rejected a protest filed by Aarhus Håndbold regarding goalkeeper Jannick Green’s eligibility. The dispute centers on a suspension Green received in 2014.

HØJ Elite board chair Helle Rasmussen stated that the club had thoroughly investigated the matter before signing Green. According to Rasmussen, the club consulted both the Danish Sports Confederation (DIF) and DanskHåndbold, receiving confirmation that the old suspension had expired due to the statute of limitations.

While Aarhus Håndbold has formally protested based on the 2014 ruling, HØJ Elite maintains that the issue was resolved and cleared by the relevant authorities before Green began playing for the club.
