Vimmerby IF secures Division 3 promotion with dramatic win

Vimmerby IF has secured promotion to Division 3 after a dramatic 2–1 victory against Jönköping Torpa BK. The win, combined with results from Tranås, allowed the team to clinch the league title in the penultimate round.

The match was marked by significant tension when Max Karlsson received a red card just before halftime. Despite playing the entire second half with ten men, Vimmerby IF maintained discipline to defend their lead. Selatin Shaljani scored both goals for the home side, while goalkeeper Gustaf Johansson made several critical saves to prevent an equalizer.
