HK Audio equipment supports Summer in the City festival in Germany

HK Audio provided sound reinforcement for the ‘Summer in the City’ open-air concert series held at Schlossplatz in St. Wendel, Germany. The free event series ran on Wednesdays from early July through August 5, attracting between 1,500 and 2,500 visitors per event.

To manage the large and geographically varied area, Eventservice Schmitt deployed a system including four HK Audio LTS 5 loudspeakers and four L SUB 4000 subwoofers, with additional LINEAR 5 112 X units used as needed. The setup utilized Lab. Gruppen FP10000Q and IPD 2400 amplifiers.

To ensure even sound distribution across the site, two LTS 5 units were positioned for the near field, while two others were placed higher on tripods to project sound over umbrellas and vendor stands toward elevated areas at the rear of the square.
