HK Audio expands Polar series with Polar 15 MK2 column PA system

HK Audio has launched the Polar 15 MK2, an active column PA system designed for mobile event productions, DJs, and entertainers. The system features a 15-inch subwoofer housed in a large-volume multiplex enclosure to enhance low-frequency performance, paired with a column unit made of low-resonance aluminum profiles.

A key feature is the integrated M20 FlexMount thread in the subwoofer, which allows for the direct mounting of distance rods for compact lighting systems or other stage accessories. This design aims to reduce the need for additional stands, saving transport space and setup time.

The Polar 15 MK2 includes an integrated four-channel mixer with two XLR/jack combo jacks, phantom power, a high-impedance instrument input, and an Aux channel. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, with TWS support for pairing two systems in stereo. Additionally, a USB-C port is provided to power connected smartphones, tablets, or wireless microphone receivers.
