HK Olimpija hosts special Slovenian hockey night at Hala Tivoli

HK Olimpija Ljubljana is hosting a special event at Hala Tivoli on Friday, October 16, during their ICE league match against the Italian team Bolzano. The evening is dedicated to celebrating Slovenian ice hockey, its successes, and its future.

As part of the event, young hockey players from clubs including HKMK Bled, HK Slavija Junior, and HK Triglav Kranj will participate in a penalty shootout during the second intermission. The club also plans to honor the Slovenian national team for maintaining its status among the world's top teams at this year's World Championship. Notably, twelve Olimpija players contributed to the national team's success, with ten continuing to play for the club this season.

The event will also feature an international presence, with over 500 Erasmus students studying in Ljubljana expected to attend the match.
