HKS showcases TRB-03 time‑attack car at NEOPASA Suruga Bay, Japan

Japanese tuning parts maker HKS, headquartered in Fuji City, Shizuoka Prefecture, is displaying its time‑attack vehicle TRB‑03 at the NEOPASA service area on the down‑line of the New Tomei Expressway near Numazu, Suruga Bay. The car, based on a Toyota 86 (ZN6) chassis, recorded a best lap of 49.445 seconds on the 2,000‑meter Tsukuba Circuit. The exhibition runs from 1 August to the end of September 2026 and is intended to promote motorsport to the public as part of HKS’s regional contribution. Parts and technologies developed for the TRB‑03 are also being fed back into HKS’s production parts for current 86/GR86/BRZ models, and visitors can view the vehicle up close and enjoy related activities.
