HKT opens Innovation & Technology Centre and AI Exchange

HKT has officially inaugurated its Innovation & Technology Centre and the AI Exchange in the Loop at the Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park (HSITP). This initiative is designed to bolster Hong Kong’s industrial development and innovation ecosystem through enhanced network infrastructure.

The project aims to facilitate future cross-boundary data flows within the Greater Bay Area (GBA) and supports the development of the Northern Metropolis, which focuses on creating university towns and industrial hubs. The opening ceremony was officiated by Professor Sun Dong, the Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry of the HKSAR Government.
