Öhlins expands into gravel cycling with new suspension fork

Swedish suspension specialist Öhlins has announced its entry into the gravel cycling market with the GXF30 M. 1, its first suspension fork specifically designed for drop-bar bicycles. The product features 40 mm of travel and weighs 1,249 g.

To mark the launch, the company is releasing a limited 'Launch Edition' consisting of only 300 units, finished in the brand's signature gold color. Engineering lead Terje Hansen emphasized that the component is not merely an adapted mountain bike suspension, but a product built specifically for the gravel discipline.

This expansion follows Öhlins' long history in motorcycle and mountain bike racing, celebrating 50 years since its founding in 1976.
