According to an industry report by Spherical Insights & Consulting, the company is positioned alongside major international pharmaceutical and women’s healthcare firms.

The report projects the global hormonal contraceptive market, valued at $20.84 billion in 2025, to expand significantly through 2035. This growth is attributed to increased reproductive health awareness and wider adoption of family planning programs.

Celebrating 60 years in the industry, HLL operates seven manufacturing facilities across India. The company supplies contraceptive and family planning products to central and state governments, United Nations agencies, and international procurement organizations serving various countries.
