Héléna Bailly moved to tears during Star Academy appearance

Belgian singer Héléna Bailly returned to the Star Academy stage on October 24, 2026, following her success at the NRJ Music Awards. During the broadcast, Bailly was visibly overwhelmed by emotion after being shown a surprise video montage featuring memories from her time at the academy and messages from former colleagues and mentors, including Pierre Garnier and Michael Goldman.

Bailly, who recently won the award for Francophone Concert of the Year at the NRJ Music Awards, expressed feeling exhausted by her current professional pace. The appearance also included a musical performance alongside student Noémie, where she sang her track ‘Boule au ventre’.

Prior to her television appearance, Bailly attended the NRJ Music Awards in Cannes, where she wore a white feathered ensemble reminiscent of a wedding dress, contrasting with fellow former contestant Marine, who opted for a dark floral velvet gown.
